Dr. Sharon Baker

Dr. Sharon Baker, MD, MCFP
Rank: Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine
Location: London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC), primarily University Hospital
Clinical Interests: Palliative Care (complex pain and symptom management and end-of-life care), Wound Care, Chronic Pain Management, Geriatrics, Medical Ethics, Peace and Social Justice Issues in Health
Educational/Research
Interests:
I am a Clinical Educator taking Family Medicine residents for a rotation in Palliative Care. I enjoy teaching in a diverse environment reflective of Family Medicine.

I have been involved in teaching medical ethics to a secondary school philosophy class and hope to have the opportunity to expand this to medical students. My interests in research include non-oncological palliative care particularly neurological issues, symptom relief in pulmonary fibrosis and facilitating the end-of-life journey.
