Characteristics of Practice
There are 6 physicians participating in teaching.  
 
Teaching offered in clinic, hospital, emergency, anaesthesia, obstetrics. 

The physicians see approximately 6 patients per hour or about 30-40 per day. There is a 50-50 male to female gender split. 

Part of Hanover Family Health Team.  Interdisciplinary Health Professionals include Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, Registered Dietician, Social Worker, Addictions/Mental Health Worker, Psychological Associate, Pharmacist, Chiropodist and Occupational Therapist.

Serve a catchment population of approximately 17,000 people from areas such as Hanover, Neustadt, Ayton, Clifford, Elmwood and the surrounding townships in Grey and Bruce Counties. 17,500 emergency visits per year.

Description of Location
Hanover is 2 hours north of London, 30 minutes from Lake Huron. The Clinic is a 2 minute walk to the hospital.

Type of Community
Hanover has a population of approximately 7,000 and it is the retail center for the area. The outlying area consists of rural farming, furniture manufacturing and farm feed. The community offers an indoor swimming pool, hockey rink, boating on rivers and lakes and skiing nearby.
