Characteristics of Practice
This is a shared 3 physician practice with a fourth physician in a nearby site. There are two registered nurses at the King Street side, a medical secretary with other support staff on-site.
This group is part of the Central Lambton Family Health Team, which also has offices on the upper floor of the local hospital nearby.
Located at the hospital site are:
- Dr. Wang, in a practice with her spouse, who is a naturopathic doctor.
- Allied Health Professionals - nurse practitioner, two registered nurses, a social worker and dietician.
- Administrative personnel for the Family Health Team.
- The executive Director for the FHT - Mary Vergeer
The hospital services include:
- Laboratory and Xray
- Resource Library and Conference Room
- Minor surgery, endoscopies, all cataract surgeries for the region.
- Emergency Department, Ambulatory Care - visiting specialists clinics
- Twenty-three inpatient medical beds, and a number of continuing care beds.
Practice Environment:
- Each physician sees about 24-30 patients per full office day.
- No intra-partum OB, only pre-natal OB to end of 2nd trimester.
- Nursing home visits are made twice a month to about 15-20 residents per physician.
- Emergency Room shifts 3-5 times per month per physician, Dr. Al-Dhaher more.

Dr. Daniel’s special interests: ER, Acupuncture, Palliative Care
Dr. Al-Dhaher's special interests: ER, academic medicine
Dr. Wang's interests - women's health
Office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.
