Characteristics of Practice
This is a very busy family practice with 2 physicians. The second physician, Dr. Claudia Niesner, started in the practice in January 2011. There are 3 medical secretaries, one labratory technician, 6 examining rooms, on site lab and a staff lounge and kitchen. This office uses Electronic Medical Records (Practice Solutions Software) and each examining room has a computer with EMR access and high speed internet. Minor surgery is done on site, particularly surgical correction of "overgrown toeskin" (aka ingrown toenail). Civil aviation medicine is a special practice interest. Dr. Chapeskie's office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 8:00am-8:00 p.m., Thursdays 8:00am-1:00pm and Friday off. The patient volume is approximately 60-80 on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and approximately 30 on Wednesday; and 0-3 house calls per month. Dr. Chapeskie is available to patients 24 hours a day. He has a genuine interest in teaching.
