Characteristics of Practice
A three physician practice that is in association with other area physicians for after-hours coverage. All age groups looked after with an active obstetrical and paediatric practice. Also looks after a 100 bed long term care home in the outer area. Serves whole town and rural areas. Sees approximately 50-65 patients per day.

Description of Location
Small town about 40 km Southwest of London; 30 minutes from London and Sarnia on 402.

Affiliated Hospital
Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital (100 beds). Students are readily accepted in the hospital community and actively involved in all levels of medical care.

Type of Community
Small community, with population of approximately 12,000 people from various ethnic backgrounds including Dutch and Portuguese. Industry is light industrial or farm-related with a large rural area involved in tobacco and fruit farming.
