Characteristics of Practice
Rural community. Dr. Sharma sees about 20-30 patients per day. There is no OB, but takes regular ER shifts. Can be involved with many local physicians in the area during the course of the rotation. If desired, there is an opportunity to get exposure to walk-in clinics. There is a shared on-call rotation.

Description of Location
Newbury is located approximately 45 km. west of London (or 40 minutes from London and 40 minutes from Chatham). The office is in the FourCountiesGeneralHospital. To get to Newbury, take Commissioners Rd. W. to Komoka. Continue on County Rd. 14 through Mt.Brydges to Glencoe (in Glencoe, County Rd. 14 jogs left then right). Continue on County Rd. 14 for a few minutes beyond Glencoe - FourCountiesGeneralHospital is on the right-hand side.

Dr. Sharma likes to met with clerks prior to their rotation. Please call his office about one month before your rotation to make an appointment with him.
Very enthusiastic preceptor - really enjoys teaching undergraduate students.
